Recording History
Column 408 June 23, 2023
We’re all involved in determining what will be written in tomorrow’s history books. Of course, some individuals have a much larger impact than others. But nonetheless, we all make a mark however so slight. Since humans tend to flock together like sheep, creating movements of one kind or another, that in itself guarantees that nearly every generation will write a story for the history books. Amazingly, quite often the stories involving social norms have been told more than once.
Recorded history, which harks back to 5,400-year-old cave paintings, started by mainly focusing on gods, major events, and food sources. Eventually kings were remembered along with wars. Then social norms, scientific discoveries, and the arts made their way into the decorative carvings, tablets, and scrolls. The Bible is an extraordinary example of how social norms govern long-term outcomes and its teachings are as valid today as when the chapters were first written. That’s because people are people and, other than their tools and toys, emotionally they are the same today as thousands of years ago.1
History used to be a one of the more fundamental courses taught in schools along with reading, writing, arithmetic, social studies, foreign languages, physics, and chemistry. But in the past few decades, in America and some other “advanced” countries, the emphasis on these fundamentals has been wrenched away from traditional norms to incorporate new beliefs that have failed historically.2
Children must be taught how to transition to adulthood where they are expected to contribute to the general well-being of society in general. Along with the scholastic topics already mentioned children have to be taught morality, what it takes for achievement, self control, and humility.3
Yet over the past few decades many children have been raised on a diet of fear, hate, racism, and doubt. Even methods of teaching such topics as mathematics, history, science, and reading have changed to the point where many children aren’t learning like they used to or they are confused. Some topics, such as social sciences are ignored. This is why so many youngsters hate America and believe it’s a racist mess that is not democratic nor fair. Capitalism is considered evil whereby the Cuba’s level playing field is better.
The seniors in our society, those mostly born during and shortly after WWII, are mostly responsible for where our nation is today. I’m part of that mob. When examining what has become of our nation during the past few decades I believe that tomorrow’s history books will say we failed miserably in terms of educating the youth. Oh, there have been great technical advancements in the past fifty years and lots of wealth created for some. But the social state is in the toilet and the government is controlled by a corrupt bureaucracy that’s protected by too many corrupt politicians.
America has been at war, nearly nonstop since WWII, with a goal of world domination. The wars are promoted by neocons and the military-industrial complex to fulfil their desire for more power. The result of our nation’s never-ending-guns-and-butter spending programs is we’re essentially bankrupt.
Over several decades we’ve allowed our educational institutions and media outlets to become socialist propagandists that have led a silent revolution based on depravity, censorship, and a breakdown of law and order. Norms have degraded to the point where its proper to expose children in any setting to sexual exploitation and bizarre behavior that 50 years ago could only be experienced by adults in the counter culture districts of Haight Ashbury or Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
These days children are even instructed to question their own gender. For instance, New Jersey schools just recently reported more than a 4,200% increase in the number of self-proclaimed nonbinary students in just the past four years! This did not occur organically. It was inspired by teachers and a society that goes along with the stupidity.4 5
Medical professionals, even with the blessings of mothers and fathers, are performing sex change operations on minors. These are lifelong mutilations of children who came to the conclusion that they live in the wrong body. These children are encouraged to make decisions that will impact them forever—even though society knows they aren’t old enough to make properly informed decisions about their lives such as what profession do they want to be in when they grow up. But supposedly a child is mature enough to determine if they need a sex change.6
We’re now at a critical crossroad. Are we going all out for socialism, more government control over our daily lives, and expanded woke nonsense? We’ve voted into power many political leaders who, along with elitists, want a new world order. Klaus Schwab’s Great Reset believes the will to build a better society does exist and that requires stronger and more effective governments. The three-point goal of the Great Reset starts by steering markets toward fairer outcomes. Second, the Great Reset wants to ensure that investments advance shared goals, such as equality and sustainability. And third, the Great Reset agenda is to harness the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to support the public good, especially by addressing health and social challenges.7
Opposite the Great Reset is MAGA and Donald Trump. By opposite we mean instead of a one world order, it’s America first. So the question is, “Will Americans give up their sovereignty?” We will reach that crossroad in 2024 where historians will most likely point to for hundreds of years to come. So this is a moment of truth for our nation.8
How will historians paint the social beliefs of this age where queerness is normal? Will it be associated with the decline of a great country consumed by a revolution? The idea that gays are normal, that being confused about one’s sex is normal, that deviant behavior is proper, that biblical moral codes are silly, that equal outcomes are necessary, skin color defines us, there should not be any national borders, crimes should not be punished, never-ending-wars, we all deserve equal outcomes, and we shouldn’t own anything are just some of the issues that will be on the 2024 ballot.
Of course not everyone is on board with the debauchery, warmongering, loss of freedoms, child mutilation, open borders, lawlessness, money printing, and corruption. It’s these people who must grab the bull by the horns in order to change the course of our country. It won’t just happen by itself.
How will tomorrow’s history books remember us?
To your health.
